VEIL & VOLTAGE
TAMPINES
THE BRIEF
Veil & Voltage is a spatial transformation project designed for a young couple and their two cats, turning a conventional 3-bedroom flat into a sculptural, mood-driven sanctuary. Their desire for warmth, flow, and subtle boldness was realised by introducing a palette of quiet neutrals wrapped in curved forms, while stainless steel elements bring crisp contrast, while a vibrant Hermès orange accent injects just the right amount of personality and edge. Built-in pet-friendly features were to be seamlessly integrated into the design, supporting their everyday lifestyle without compromising aesthetics.
THE SPACE
The home unfolds as a choreography of curves and contrast, where warm veils of plaster and light embrace the geometry of stainless steel, and silence takes shape in sculptural form. The spatial journey begins gently through hues of warm beige and oat, evoking a sense of hush; of breath held between gestures. Deeper into the residence, sheen and vibrancy emerges in controlled amounts, drawing one’s visual focus and revealing hints of drama. The home hence becomes a spatial sonnet — composed in beige, charged in chrome, and brought to life by a single stroke of flame.
