The clients, who are avid collectors of ceramics, appreciate the warmth and charm of Mid-century design. They envisioned a space that would house both their interest in ceramics and the companionship they enjoy with their dog, Olive.

In Ceramic Reverie, the ceramics play a role beyond a collection; they represent a lifestyle. One that embraces the beauty of imperfection, the intimacy of handmade objects, and the enduring elegance of a life well-lived. Eliminating visual noise through concealment was a vital design gesture — it shifted attention from the structure to the decor, fixtures and art that reflected the personality of the clients. This enabled rituals and a zeal for life to take centre stage in the space.
